Program and Schemes
Bhamashah Yojana is a scheme introduced by the Government of Rajasthan to transfer financial and non-financial benefits of governmental schemes directly to benefiter in a transparent way.
Unique identification project was initially conceived by the Planning Commission as an initiative that would provide identification for each resident across the country and would be used primarily as the basis for efficient delivery of welfare services. It would also act as a tool for effective monitoring of various programs and schemes of the Government.
NABARD Solar scheme:
With an aim to go green and to promote the large scale setting of solar energy, the Rajasthani Government through the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development scheme gives 40% subsidy on capital costs of solar PV systems I both rural and urban areas.
iii) Minority educational schemes: There are a number of educational schemes for the upliftment of students belonging to minority community. To name a few Maulana Azad fellowship programs, Scheme of Providing Quality Education in Madarsas (SPQEM) and Infrastructure Development of Minority Institutions (IDMI) in Rajasthan (2010-2011) are the important ones.
Environment and pollution control schemes:
Starting from river conservation schemes to control air, sound and water pollution the government of Rajasthan has come up with a nuber of effective and stringent schemes to curb pollution in the state.
Be it the National Cadet corps( NCC) or the NSS (National Service Schemes) or other sport development schemes like youth development and training programs Rajasthan has a number of good schemes for promoting sports in the state.
The various farmer awareness programs and education schemes in agricultural field testifies the fact how serious the government is when it comes to agriculture. Over the last few years various Krishi Vigyan kendras, food testing laboratories and workshops were being conducted and set by the government.
